Follow the Civic Assembly
(Sep 25-27, 2026)

On September 25-27, 2026, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH, the New Hampshire Forum will host an in-person, lottery-selected civic assembly.

~50 Granite Staters who represent the diversity of the state will convene for three days to weigh and sharpen proposals on 1-2 top issue areas emerging from our Community Conversations phase.

Thank you for Joining Community Conversations!

This Summer, all Granite Staters were invited to join small-group, face-to-face conversations on the top-identified issues from our prior deliberative round. Participants discussed the issue(s) of greatest interest to them and collaboratively identify ways to solve them.

Problem-solving proposals that emerged from Community Conversations will be publicized and serve as inputs for the next phase of The New Hampshire Forum: Our September 25-27 civic assembly at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, during which ~50 lottery-selected delegates will refine and decide on proposals for action by New Hampshire's state legislators in the 2027 legislative session.

In-Person Community Conversation

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Concord on June 17th and Nashua on July 21st, for the two-hour, in-person Community Conversations on the top issues identified so far. We got a wide range of participants and policy perspectives!

Online Community Conversations

In addition to our in-person gatherings, we hosted 60-minute online conversations on the top issues identified in our prior, deliberative round.

These conversations used a purpose-built video platform (called Frankly) to make participation convenient and include as many New Hampshire voices as possible. This free, web-based, easy-to-use platform allowed The New Hampshire Forum to collect and elevate the full array of wisdom and ideas shared in the small-group conversations.

Best of all, participants had fun getting to know their fellow Granite Staters from across the state!
